Dear Pastor - formerly Advice Column

Dear Pastor,

I have a problem. At my school there is this bully, he always picks on me and I don't like it. He makes fun of me and I get very mad. He takes my lunch money so I am very hungry. This has been going on so long my mother says I look like I just saw a ghost. I tried to be nice to him , but he took advantage of me and bullied me even more.My so called friends don't help me, they are too worried of their social life. What should I do? And what should I say to my friends?

P.S. I tried standing up to him but I got into a fight and lost ...with a black eye. And that strenght in numbers thing, my friends always desert me.
