Half Empty or Half Full ( no critiques)
Is the cup half empty or half-full? This is a question we are faced with everyday. A lot of pshychiatricians (sp.) ask this question, and here's my answer.
Well, frankly the whole thing is a pshychiatric hoax, it is meant to determine if you are optomistic or pessimistic. If you look at the bright side of things or the dark side. But who didn't know that?....Anyhow, if you see "the cup" as half empty , you are looking at the dark side and being negative. If you see it as half full....vice versa.
Half- Empty - reffered to when the drink is good or you want more (drink)
Half-Full -reffered to when the drink tastes like hell, and you really think the person is trying to commit murder, and you know that you'll probably die if you drink another sip....or .......more commonly, you don't like the drink.
First, we look at the person who's drinkings' perspective, if he is not thirsty than the cup will most definetly be half-full and if you are ravenous (does that only reffer to food?) you will see the cup as half empty.
So in the end we are still left with the question. Judging by all of this fancy, scientific reasearch, IS THE CUP HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL? The answer is.......
We don't know, the answer is baffiling many top reasearchers to this very moment. But there is one common conclusion that we can draw from this all,
It's all how you look at it.
Keep it real.
